Ulster Weavers traces its roots back 140 years to the heyday of Northern Ireland’s linen industry. It is renowned for its vivid textiles, but its team felt a new brand positioning and look and feel would make it more relevant to millennial audiences.

We collaborated with Ulster Weavers to tap into its rich heritage, local craftsmanship, and product quality and retell its story. We also worked with McCann WorldGroup to conduct global audience research.

The new brand emphasises local, sustainable production and authentic, maker-driven product designs—the fresh logo and aesthetic blend modern sensibilities with traditional elements.

Early indicators of the re-brand’s financial impact are promising. It illustrates the effectiveness of leveraging historical roots while innovating for modern audiences. The new brand positions Ulster Weavers to continue inspiring homes worldwide for many more years.
