Microsoft recognised the importance of these specialists and sought to attract more of them. But how do you stand out in a competitive recruitment landscape—especially when you seek the very best?

We delved into SREs’ role and discovered that “engineer” was too limiting to describe them. After all, they were anticipating, planning, and navigating the future of tech. We took a fresh perspective—these professionals were “future navigators”.

We developed a video campaign featuring interviews with Microsoft’s current team to provide genuine insight. This video content powered a targeted digital recruitment drive on LinkedIn and YouTube.

The campaign resonated deeply with its target audience. The primary video garnered over 507K views and led to 2,000 candidates engaging with Microsoft’s recruitment portal. The “Future Navigators” campaign set Microsoft apart as a forward-thinking employer in the digital age.
