Cardano is a public blockchain designed as a decentralised tool for change-makers, innovators, and visionaries. Its cutting-edge capabilities and big ambitions deserved a brand to match.

We set out to help Cardano’s brand stand out in a noisy blockchain landscape and communicate its powerful capabilities in plain language to the general public.

We undertook a comprehensive brand planning journey, including interviews with Cardano’s staff and stakeholders. We analysed our findings to understand the product, its creators, and the blockchain category.

We then reappraised and rebuilt the Cardano brand model, introducing a new look and feel to reflect the technology’s openness and flexibility. We repositioned Cardano as a platform for societal and economic change—a catalyst for positive impacts across various sectors.

The new branding echoes Cardano’s open-source and decentralised nature, fosters a sense of direction for its team, and helps a global audience understand its unique and powerful capabilities.
